Professional lexicographers, who compile dictionaries for a living, depend on

contributors to alert them to new words. For this reason, we’ve set up “Stan and

Dan’s Puzzle Patrol.”

Please send us any “new” three-to-seven-letter answer words, phrases, slang

terms, names, titles, etc. you encounter that aren’t already in the book, so we

can consider using them in future editions. They need not have appeared in a

crossword. Each submission should include the answer and its meaning and, if

it did appear in a crossword, the puzzle’s source (newspaper, magazine, or

Web site address, and date), along with your name, street address, and e-mail

address (if any).
